Rise & Shine Bakery opened April Fool's of 2006 by Michelle Brull.Michelle never had any formal training or schooling.She relied on lots of practice and hard work which has since turned her dream intoa successful reality.Rise & Shine started out as a kolache shop and has since expanded intolunch, cakes, sweets and a killer weekend breakfast.Rise & Shine doesn't make fancy breads or try to compete with what others thinka bakery should be. We are here to please the sweet tooth; we use lots of butter andsugar and don't claim to be anything more than a bakery in Austin, Texas thatturns out the best product possible with the freshest ingredients.
How far in advance should I place my cake order?The sooner the better, we are booking up quickly these days.Cake orders for Friday or Saturday pickup must be ordered no later than Thursday at noon.Where does the price break start for kolache orders?Call to order the day before and receive 20% off your entire kolache order over two dozen.If just walking in that morning you will receive an 8% discount on kolache orders over a dozen.Pay with cash and your entire purchase of anything in the store will be discounted 5%.Do you offer wedding cakes?Depends on the size and date of the event, email Michelle to see ifwe are available for your event: michelle@riseandshinebakery.comDoes the bakery have seating?Yes, we have enough room to seat around 16 comfortably.Do you have gift certificates?Yes, in any denomination.Scan the QR code below from your smart phone to visit the website at any time.
